Paulville? Dead and Buried already

leave a comment »

On Monday, just days after the announcement of the land purchase, the Web site Paulville.org went out of existence. No contact information had been on the site when it was live; phone calls and e-mails to the site administrator over the last several days have gone unreturned”

Where Did Ron Paul’s Money Go?

leave a comment »

“For example, one wonders what exactly Paul’s donors got for the $120,000 paid to MPrinting Graphics, a firm controlled by Paul’s Congressional campaign manager which doesn’t even appear to have a website, for television advertising production in the week after Super Tuesday.”

“Indeed, paying $162,051 in the space of six days to a business controlled by your Congressional campaign manager in the week after Super Tuesday creates, at the very least, an appearance of impropriety”

“Even more interesting is the $994,339 that the Paul campaign spent – roughly 3.5% of all the money that the Paul campaign spent – at a firm known as “Campaign Marketing Strategies Inc.” based in Alexandria, Virginia. The firm has no website. It appears to have no phone number. I can find no description of what it does. The address provided by the campaign – and in what records of the company I could find – it for what appears to be a private home.”

At the very LEAST this sounds somewhat suspicious. At best, it could be simple cronyism, but at worst it could be laundering campaign donations to his friends and/or family and/or acquaintances. And we all know, based on prior indiscretions from Paul’s office (certain racist newsletters), that they might not be above doing something else immoral.

The Ron Paul supporter challenge

with 12 comments

As Ron Paul’s numbers continue to drop, and his supporters get more desperate, I wonder how many are REALLY willing to put their money where their mouth is.

Not just claiming to donate to the campaign, or claiming the “newsletters aren’t his fault”, but REALLY willing to say he is STILL going to win.

I am putting out challenge. I will donate the full amount, 2300 bucks, legal under the current law (no Ron Paul supporter would support dirty tricks, right LibertyThor?), to the Ron Paul campaign, IF he finishes first in Florida, or first in any of the Super Tuesday PRIMARIES.

If any of you SO convinced he is about to “turn the corner” are willing to take my challenge, YOU have to donate to the campaign of my choice.

We can open pay pal accounts for anonymity (I have one ready to go!), so there are no excuses.

Come on Paulies. You have been talking shit for months and months. Who has the balls to take me on?

My ode to Evel Knievel

leave a comment »

Wow! Evel made it to 69 years! That King of Kings was the King Shit when I was 10 years old. EVERY teenage Male wanted to be Evel. He took no shit, said whatever he wanted, DID whatever he wanted, and defined AMERICA.

Do you think that goes too far? You are wrong. Evel was distinctly American. In the 70’s, he truly defined what “America” meant. In today’s society, with all the whining and crying, the persona of Evel doesn’t fit. But back then, the rest of the world would literally say “Evel Knieval” when talking about America.

It was a different time, yes. It is SO appropriate to our PC, never say anything society of today. Yeah, some bitch about the repressive government, and the loss of freedom. NO ONE steps up, kicks ass, and does anything though. Lots of complaining, very little doing. It says a LOT about America when the number 1 “fight the power” group is Code Pink. We have become a nation of major wussies.

Evel said “FUCK YOU, I am who I am, don’t like it? Tough shit!”, like no other. I hope we get more than the obligatory “This is who Evel was” crap. A true piece of Americana is gone, and two generations don’t even know it. WhatAmerica WANTS to be, strives to be, wishes it could be, is embodied in the Evel legend.

I don’t think I realized until tonight how big an influence that man had on my life/psyche. He said “do what you want, and fuck everyone else” better than any man in the last 30 years.

FUCK YOU, I DO WHAT I WANT!!!!

We will miss you Evel. I raise my glass in your honor!!!

Ron Paul and the 10th Amendment

with 8 comments

Why is it the RP’ers who scream “States Rights!”, and “10th Amendment!” forget to read the WHOLE Amendment?

“The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people.”

Can I point out the last 4 words? “OR TO THE PEOPLE “. Why is it there is some belief that rights begin and end with the State, and the RP parrots FORGET this key part of the amendment? I will tell you why. The LARGE majority of Ron Paul supporters have NOT read the Constitution (or they would know it is not “replete with references to God” per Ron Paul), and they have NOT read the Bill of Rights.

They HAVE parroted the Ron-speak, bumper sticker version of both. Understanding? Nope, sorry. If there WAS understanding, they wouldn’t latch on to “States Rights!” so firmly and desperately. They would read the whole Amendment, read the WHOLE Constitution, including powers of the SCOTUS, Congress, etc.

What we have instead are newbies, desperately trying to sound relevant, when in truth they have no desire to fully understand the Bill of Rights or the Constitution. If they had, there wouldn’t be people screaming “states rights!” while claiming the U.S. has a population of a billion. Yeah, same people..
